Creating and using Company Fields

Company fields are a set of custom fields that help you capture the right company information in a format of your choice.
You can add various field types to add company information as and when you get them.
For example, a single-line text field can be used to collect one-line details, or a date field can provide you with options to add the desired dates.
These fields ensure the consistent availability of information across your platform. You can further customize the company fields to contain information specific to your business needs.
In order to create Company Fields, follow the below mentioned steps :
From your homepage of Sprinklr, navigate to settings
Search for Company Fields or you can scroll down to select Company Fields from Global Governance.
You will be able to see all of your created Company Fields
Click on Create Company Fields from top right corner
Create Company Field Window contains the following :
Name : Enter the name for Contact field you want to be reflected everywhere.
Description : Describe what that contact field is for.
Field Type : It helps you capture various types and levels of contact information.
Different Contact Field Types :
Multi
It allows you to add a field type where you can select more than one option at a time. For example, adding multiple tags to your form.Single
This field type lets you choose a single option from the drop-down list. For example, adding a single user from the drop-down list.
Text
This field type allows you to add textual details to your form
Date
This field type allows you to add dates in your form, for example, purchase date, complaint date, completion date, etc.
Number
Use this field type if you wish to add a phone number, alternative number, etc. in your form.
Decimal
You can use this field type if you have to enter decimal values in your form, i.e. 1.23%, 3.12%, etc.
Enable/Disable Color Coding for the desired agents fields. It helps agents easily identify the important fields in the form.
Toggle on the Mark as Required option to make your desired field mandatory. Fields marked as required must be filled while filling out the respective forms.
Once everything added, click on Create to create that Company field.
Using Company Fields :
Once you have create Company Fields, it's time to use them. In order to do so, please follow the below mentioned steps :
From your homepage, select CRM from left pane
Select Companies under CRM
You will find lists of companies created on platform
Click on Create Company from the top right corner.
Under Create Company Window, you will be able to see the Company field created.
Fill up the value for the Company field create and click on Create from the bottom right
Also, you can make changes to the company field value either by click on three dots and selecting edit or clicking on View Company.
When you click on View Company , you should be able to see the field created on the top right corner and it allows to make changes to it
When you click on edit, it redirects you to Edit Company window where you can make necessary changes to the field value.
