Contact fields are a set of custom fields that help you capture contact information in a format of your choice.You can add various field types to add contact information as and when you get them. For example, a single-line text field can be used to collect one-line details, or a date field can provide you with options to add the desired dates like birthdays/anniversaries.In order to create Contact Fields, follow the below mentioned steps :From your homepage of Sprinklr, navigate to settingsSearch for Contact Fields or you can scroll down to select Contact Fields from Global GovernanceYou will be able to see all of your created Contact FieldsClick on Create Contact Field from top right corner.Create Contact Field contains the following :Name : Enter the name for Contact field you want to be reflected everywhere.Description : Describe what that contact field is for.Field Type : It helps you capture various types and levels of contact information.Different Contact Field Types :Multi It allows you to add a field type where you can select more than one option at a time. For example, adding multiple tags to your form.SingleThis field type lets you choose a single option from the drop-down list. For example, adding a single user from the drop-down list.TextThis field type allows you to add textual details to your formDateThis field type allows you to add dates in your form, for example, purchase date, complaint date, completion date, etc.NumberUse this field type if you wish to add a phone number, alternative number, etc. in your form.DecimalYou can use this field type if you have to enter decimal values in your form, i.e. 1.23%, 3.12%, etc.Enable/Disable Color Coding for the desired agents fields. It helps agents easily identify the important fields in the form.Toggle on the Mark as Required option to make your desired field mandatory. Fields marked as required must be filled while filling out the respective forms.Once everything added, click on Create to create that contact field.Using Contact Field : The Contact Field created will be reflected in your inbox module for every message that came to your accounts added on the platformIn order to use this created Contact Field, follow the below mentioned steps :From your Homepage of Sprinklr, Navigate to Inbox from left paneSelect any message that came in your inbox.Switch between different view for the message on the extreme rightSelect Contact 360 from extreme right of the message windowYou will be able to see the newly created Contact FieldYou can populate the field as required for any msgThe field for that msg will be updatedIn this way, you can create and make use of Contact Fields to capture contact information in a format of your choice.
