Publish Facebook Dark Post

A Dark Post is a term used to describe a targeted ad that doesn't appear on the brand’s timeline or in the feeds of the brand’s followers, unlike posts that are boosted and organic. Dark posts instead appear on the feeds of audiences that are being targeted and are usually labeled as sponsored content. You can create these posts in Publisher, and choose how to distribute them on the Native Platform.


You can Toggle On if you want to publish the content as a Dark post.








To Publish Facebook Dark Posts on Facebook


  1. Click on the + icon from the left pane of CXM Lite and select New Post from the dropdown.



  2. The Publisher tool will appear where you need to choose the desired Facebook account, provide content and supporting media. Toggle On the Dark Post under Facebook Options. Choose the Scheduling option as Publish Now such that the post will be published as a Dark post on the native. You can preview the post under the Platform Preview on the right.



This is how the dark post will be visible under Published Posts.




Click on View Facebook action to view the dark post on the native.
